It just gets better.

A few weeks ago I was so excited about our acrylics - now we’ve added some amazing new books to the lineup.

These are made for Kidography by the same local printer and bookbinder that does the amazing storybook albums for MyWeddingStory. Those tend to cost £800 +. However, we’ve managed to create a slightly simpler design and a super compact 7 inch square format and just a couple of cover options. In fact we’ve shaved everything except the quality. And that includes the price.

Our new photo albums start at just £195.

Jasmine in Blean Woods

Another shoot. Another trip to Blean Woods and another fabulous young lady to photograph.

This time it was Jasmine’s turn.

Once again it was bright, clear and cold once again it was rather a lot of fun.

In fact Blean is so great to work in that if you twist my arm you might get a nice discount on your own photo shoot in the woods. As long as we can go to Blean - it’s near the gallery and has easy parking. And the pictures are always great.

Holly in the woods

If you go down to the woods today…..

Actually it was up to the woods. And it was yesterday. But it was a great shoot.

Cold weather wasn’t going to stop her. Mud wasn’t going to stop her. Even a freezing stream wasn’t going to stop her. Holly arrived complete with warm hats and wellies and we had a fabulous time.

Sports Kids

A lot of our work is for families and private clients - but Kidography also photograph nurseries, playgroups, sports clubs etc.

In fact if you have lots of kids then not only could your shoot be free - you might even make some money out of it!

We can come along to your sports club and photograph the team and individual players. Depending on the weather you may prefer us to shoot the kids in action or set up one of our mobile studios. Either is cool - we can even mix both styles on the day.

Parents then get to buy some high quality pictures of their children doing what they love and our generous commission scheme means you can raise some money to add to your club funds too.

We call that a win-win. Oh and it’s a lot of fun too. Maybe that should be win-win-win.

It’s Christmas already!

Well technically there are about 4 weeks to go - but I wouldn’t risk going into a shop before the big day!

No a much better idea is to pop over to the Kidography Store and buy all your loved ones our rather gorgeous gift vouchers.

If you do want to do the whole “jostling with 2,000 other people” then you could do a lot worse than pop into the Bromley Christmas Fair on the 29th of November. That won’t stop you buying gift vouchers though. Just pop over to the Kidography stall and say hi to Toni. She’ll be happy to show you our fantastic acrylics and gift books. India Trenowden

And last but by no means least from the muddy garden family fun day, India Trenowden.

Her brother Ted’s pictures are already online - now it’s time for India.

India spent most of her time with Christian on the day and some of the pictures of them look fabulous together. In fact with their parents’ kind permission they are now featuring in one of our sample books. You can see them if you catch up with Kidography at a fair, book a shoot or just give Toni a call.

Remember our trip to a muddy garden in Kent? I mentioend that we photographed a family fun day for 4 children.

Henry’s pictures are already online - now it’s time for his friend Ted.

Both of them braved the mud and slight drizzle (c’mon - they are kids!) and we toughed it out too. Rain doesn’t bother the pro level cameras we use. And we always pack wellies. Just in case.

Recently Kidography travelled to deepest Kent for another of our family fun days. There were actually 2 families with 2 children in each.

No problem! We had a very muddy garden to play in. And more importantly a football!

We also had a bootload of flash equipment to enhance the rather poor quality sunshine. Because the fun doesn’t stop just because the weather isn’t ideal.

Ben: on the way home

Sometimes my very favourite shots come when you are least expecting them.

That’s how it was with Ben today.We’d gone over to the park to catch some of the gorgeous Autumn light. But all Ben wanted to do was chase his ball down hill and hold on to daddy. And that’s cool - you can’t force photo shoots like this or rush children.

With a little patience we got some great shots of him enjoying himself that I know his family are going to love. But my favourite is this one - taken on the way home when the shoot was “over”.

And yeah, the eyes say it all.
